Oberwerk 45° 100mm Binocular Telescope

The highy-acclaimed Oberwerk 100mm Binocular Telescope is now improved in two very important ways for those whose primary interest is binocular astronomy- 45° oculars and a strong and smooth fork mount, which together provide comfortable viewing from horizon to zenith. Of course the new 45° 100mm Binocular Telescope also has Oberwerk's signature broadband multi-coatings on every lens surface, including the massive porro prisms. 25x fully multi-coated wide-angle eyepieces are included, but because of the industry-standard 1.25" helical focusers, your favorite telescope eyepieces can be used as well. The rest of the binocular, including the semi-apochromatic triplet objectives, is the same proven design as found in the original 25/40x100mm

Complete package price includes binocular, removable handle, aluminum carrying case, wooden tripod with fork mount, and 25x oculars. The tripod can be upgraded to our premium jarrah hardwood tripod for $100. 7x50mm correct-image finderscope (as shown) is optional. Binocular is pre-tapped for the finderscope's precision-ground dovetail base (no adjustment required- just lock it in and it's aligned). Because accurate collimation is critical at higher magnifications, every Oberwerk binocular is collimated prior to shipping- so even at 100x, you'll enjoy perfectly merged images. If you need easy crank-up height adjustment, take a look at our exclusive Bogen 3258 tripod option.

Oberwerk 100mm Binocular Telescope

Need more versatility than the 25/40x100 Long-Range Observation binocular? This is a modified version of the 25/40x100, that incorporates 1.25" non-rotating helical focusers instead of permanently-mounted eyepieces on turrets. Two matched pairs of 25x (24.43mm) and 62x (10.0mm) fully multi-coated wide-angle eyepieces are included. And because the helical focusers are a non-proprietary 1.25" design, your favorite 1.25" eyepieces can be used as well. The eyepieces do not rotate when focusing- a feature found only on high-end helical focusers. The rest of the binocular, including the semi-apochromatic triplet objectives, is the same proven design as found in the original 25/40x100mm. And just like the 25/40x100mm, broadband multi-coatings (non-reflective green/purple) are used throughout, including on the massive porro prisms.

Complete package price includes binocular, removable handle, lightweight nylon form-fitted case, wooden tripod with removable table-top tripod, 25x and 62x oculars. An optional 7x50mm correct-image finderscope (as shown below) is available. Binocular is pre-tapped for the finderscope's precision-ground dovetail base (no adjustment required- just lock it in and it's aligned). The tripod can be upgraded to our premium jarrah hardwood tripod for $100.

Because accurate collimation is critical at higher magnifications, every pair of Oberwerk binoculars is collimated to perfection prior to shipping, so you'll always enjoy perfectly merged images even at highest usable magnification.
Prefer a fork mount? The Oberwerk Fork Mount, combined with the BT-100 adapter, can be used with the tripod.
